Bio
Bonnie Rapp has been delighting audiences for many years! She's had the honor of playing the lead role of Christine Daaé in the National Tour/San Francisco Company of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera.
Some of Bonnie’s favorite roles include Maria in The Sound of Music, Kate in Kiss Me, Kate, Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Louise in Gypsy and Sister Amnesia and Sister Leo in Nunsense, Nunsense II and Nunsense Jamboree.
Bonnie had appeared in so many productions of Nunsense that the creator of the show, Dan Goggin, bestowed her with her own habit! Bonnie has also appeared in numerous Broadway galas, fundraisers, and concerts, including performances at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.
More recently, Bonnie has devoted her talents as a live solo performer or via Zoom for various organizations, corporate functions and for those in independent, assisted living, nursing homes and memory care facilities.
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bonnie has been determined to reinvent her live performances. She continues to reach the people who need it most and bring light and joy into these difficult times. During this transition from live shows to virtual concerts, Bonnie has discovered that technology has allowed her to reach an even wider audience. She has performed her highly interactive shows across the country and has been welcomed back by many of her newfound audiences.
Having brought so much pleasure to so many from New York to California, Bonnie intends to perform her shows virtually, now and beyond the current health crisis.
